根据业内最新消息，宜家计划在国内修建首个购物、家具、办公、公寓和酒店综合体，预计在2019年年底开业。而在2017年下半年，无印良品在国内推出的MUJI HOTEL也要竣工。两大与酒店看似没有联系的家居、杂货类企业先后宣布在国内跨界酒店，原因在于拓展品牌外延。
据报道，宜家此次推出的综合体位于长沙，总投资约36亿元，总建筑面积约40万平方米。其中酒店定位为中档精品酒店，目前宜家正计划与国际酒店品牌运营团队进行合作。此前，宜家曾在欧洲与万豪合作，共同推出了Moxy酒店。而公寓也同样打出了“精品”的口号。

walking distance from hotel to MRT is about 15mins. free shuttle service between hotel and MRT station is from 8am to 8pm. It will be nice to have it until 10pm. There is 2 night markets within the area. A lot of food choices and good leg massage in the night market. Room is clean and big. Water pressure and temperature from the shower is better than most 4 stars hotel.
